Mission Digital Corp. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the PolitiShield mobile application (“App” or “Service”)—with additional information for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

By using PolitiShield, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not download, install, or use the App.

1. What We Do Not Collect

PolitiShield was designed with privacy-first principles. We do not collect or store any of the following personal data:

Message content (SMS or iMessage)
Phone numbers or contacts
User identifiers (such as Apple ID, name, email, or IP address)
Device location or GPS data
Behavioral tracking or advertising identifiers

PolitiShield uses iOS’s native SMS filtering framework to filter unwanted political messages. All filtering is performed locally on your device. We never see, store, or transmit your messages.

2. What We May Collect

While we avoid collecting personal data, we may collect limited, non-personal, de-identified information to maintain and improve app performance:

Device model, iOS version, and app version
Subscription status, validated through Apple’s App Store
Crash logs or diagnostics, if enabled in your Apple privacy settings

This data is used solely to ensure functionality and provide basic technical support. It cannot be linked to you or your identity.

3. How We Use Information

We use de-identified technical data to:

Verify your subscription status via Apple
Analyze and fix bugs, crashes, or performance issues
Respond to support inquiries, if initiated by you

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing, profiling, or advertising.

4. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

Under California law, you have the following rights:

4.1 Right to Know

You have the right to request information about what personal data we collect, use, disclose, or sell. However, PolitiShield does not collect or store any personal data as defined by CCPA/CPRA.

4.2 Right to Delete

You may request deletion of your data. Since we do not store personal data, there is nothing to delete beyond any support emails you may have voluntarily sent us.

4.3 Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data. Therefore, there is no need to opt out.

4.4 Right to Non-Discrimination

We will never discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

4.5 Authorized Agents

You may authorize someone to submit requests on your behalf using a signed written authorization.

PolitiShield is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted data, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

We take data protection seriously and implement technical safeguards to protect any limited non-personal information we do collect. No text message data is ever transmitted off your device.
