1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (“you,” “user,” or “end user”) and Mission Digital Corp. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the PolitiShield mobile application (“PolitiShield,” “App,” or “Service”) for iOS devices.

By downloading, installing, or using PolitiShield, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not access or use the App.

2. Description of Service

PolitiShield is a mobile application designed to help users filter political spam text messages using Apple’s iOS message filtering framework. Key features include:

• Filtering unwanted or spammy political messages using iOS's on-device message filter

• Whitelisting preferred candidates, causes, or campaigns

• All message processing is local to your device for privacy

• A subscription-based model to access premium features

Note: While PolitiShield enhances iOS’s native filtering functionality, it does not guarantee 100% accuracy. Some spam messages may still appear, and some legitimate texts may be unintentionally filtered.

3. Subscription Terms

3.1 Pricing and Billing

• Monthly Plan: $4.99 per month

• Annual Plan: $39.99 per year

• Free Trial: 30-day trial for new users

Payments are processed via Apple’s App Store using your Apple ID. Prices are shown in USD unless otherwise stated. Taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction.

3.2 Automatic Renewal

All subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle. Your Apple ID will be charged within 24 hours prior to the renewal period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.

3.3 Free Trial Terms

Free trials are available to new users only. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan. Canceling during the trial immediately ends access to premium features.

3.4 Refunds

Refunds are only available through Apple. We do not process refunds directly. For information, visit Apple Support at https://support.apple.com.

4. User Obligations

4.1 Acceptable Use

By using PolitiShield, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes

• Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws

• Provide accurate information when communicating with support

• Respect intellectual property rights of others

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

• Attempt to bypass subscription requirements

• Share login credentials or Apple ID for access-sharing

• Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others

• Interfere with or disrupt the App or related systems

4.3 Device Requirements

PolitiShield requires:

• iOS version 14.0 or later

• Compatible iPhone with text message filtering enabled

• Active internet connection for subscription validation

• Sufficient device storage

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in PolitiShield, including trademarks, logos, design, content, and code, are the property of Mission Digital Corp. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to download and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not sublicense, sell, rent, or redistribute the App.

5.3 Feedback

Any suggestions, ideas, or feedback you provide may be used by us without compensation or obligation to you.

6. Privacy and Data

We take your privacy seriously. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.

Core principles:

• Message filtering occurs entirely on your device

• We do not access, store, or transmit your text messages

• Subscription validation is handled through Apple

• We do not collect personal data unless you contact support

7. Service Availability and Modifications

7.1 Availability

While we strive to ensure the Service is reliable and available, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, and issues outside our control (e.g., Apple outages) may impact availability.

7.2 Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Add, remove, or modify features at any time

• Update filtering algorithms to improve performance

• Adjust subscription pricing for new users with notice

• Amend these Terms; we will notify you of material changes via the App or email

8. Disclaimers

PolitiShield is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

• That the Service will meet your specific needs

• That filtering will be 100% accurate or error-free

• That all political spam will be blocked

• That no legitimate messages will be filtered

We do not guarantee compatibility with all carriers, message formats, or devices.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages

• We are not liable for issues caused by third parties, including Apple and message senders

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Apple ID settings. Uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel your subscription. You may also request account deletion by contacting support@politishield.app.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate access without prior notice if you:

• Violate these Terms

• Engage in fraudulent or abusive activity

• Cause harm to other users or to our reputation

11. Apple-Specific Terms

• These Terms are between you and Mission Digital Corp., not Apple

• Apple is not responsible for the App or its content

• Apple is not obligated to provide any support or maintenance

• Apple is not liable for any claims arising from your use of the App

• You agree that Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to the App or these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in San Francisco County, California.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Informal Resolution

Please contact us at support@politishield.app before initiating any formal legal process. We’ll do our best to resolve your concern promptly and informally.

13.2 Binding Arbitration

If unresolved, you agree to submit any claim or dispute to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its rules. The arbitration will take place in California.

13.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to waive any right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or consolidated legal proceedings.

15. End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you and Mission Digital Corp. covering your use of the PolitiShield application (“App”).

15.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Mission Digital Corp. grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use one copy of PolitiShield on an iOS device that you own or control and as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

You may not:

• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, sublicense, or make commercial use of the App

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App or its content, except as explicitly permitted by these Terms

This license is for personal, non-commercial use only.

15.2 Ownership

The App is licensed, not sold, to you. Mission Digital Corp. retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the App and all associated intellectual property rights. The EULA does not grant you any ownership rights in the App or its content.

15.3 Consent to Use of Data

You agree that Mission Digital Corp. may collect and use technical data and related information—including but not limited to device type, system version, and usage statistics—provided such data is anonymized and used solely to improve the product or support services.

15.4 External Services

The App may enable access to third-party services (such as Apple’s systems). You agree to use these services at your own risk and acknowledge that Mission Digital Corp. is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of these services.

15.5 Termination

This license is effective until terminated by you or by us. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice from us if you violate any provision of the Terms or this EULA. Upon termination, you must stop using and delete all copies of the App.

15.6 U.S. Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that:

• You are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist-supporting” country

• You are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties

15.7 Apple Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge that Apple is not a party to this EULA and that Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support with respect to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and, upon your acceptance of the Terms and EULA, will have the right (and be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce the EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary.
